Welcome to The Oasis, a 9-room family-run hotel on the banks of Ben Tre River. We are directly across the river from Ben Tre City - a 4 minute drive or 8 by bicycle to the town centre, but a world away in terms of peace and relaxation.

The Oasis has river views to the front, and countryside (coconut tree) views to the rear. Come and enjoy a drink or a swim in our pool, relax in our thatched cabanas and watch the boats glide down the river, or simply sit and have a chat with us about our beautiful town, province, and country.

The Oasis is owned by Ken and Lieu, a New Zealand/Vietnamese husband and wife team. Our staff are English-speaking and are here to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible, with that personal touch that only a friendly small hotel can give you.

INFORMATION UPDATE,(1) No you dont have to book a tour to My Tho  to get to Ben Tre, go by Thinh Phat bus company 25a Su Van Hanh Street, district 5 HCM (2) YES there is a bus direct to BEN TRE FROM CAN THO,  1.00pm. GO TO  CAN THO  BUS STATION,  corner Hung Vuong and Nguyen Trai oppisite the maximart supermarket, Get the bus that has BENTRE in the window, the rego plate Number will start with 71, (3) when you get to Ben Tre dont be forced into going to a hotel way out of town by the moto drivers,  they get a good commision to take you there, and just because its in the lonley planet (printed 4 years ago)(it was the only guest house near the now disused ferry landing 4 years ago) beware. (4) no we dont hire out bicycles and motobikes if you dont stay at the Oasis sorry,  and we sympathize with you if no one understands you at other places. Ken
